1. Overview
Moxie Project & Productivity Coaching, LLC (“Moxie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit bringyourmoxie.com (the “Site”), join our community, book a session, purchase a program, or otherwise use our services (together, the “Services”); how we use and share that information; and the choices you have. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly. We collect information you provide when you fill out a contact or lead form, subscribe to our email list, register for a program or event, create a community account, book a session, complete an assessment (such as the M8 assessment), make a purchase, or communicate with us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, business name and role, mailing address, the content of your messages and assessment responses, and any information you choose to share during coaching sessions or in the community.
Payment information. When you make a purchase, your payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our systems; we receive confirmation of payment, the last four digits of your card, and billing details needed for receipts and records.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We collect this through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies described in Section 4.
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from scheduling, payment, community, and email platforms we use to deliver the Services, from social media platforms when you interact with our pages or ads, and from publicly available sources such as your business website or LinkedIn profile when we prepare for an engagement.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, deliver, and personalize the Services, including coaching, programs, assessments, and community access.
- Process payments, send receipts and invoices, and manage your account and enrollment.
- Schedule sessions and send confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups.
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.
- Send newsletters, resources, program announcements, and promotional messages, where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted by law.
- Understand how the Site is used, measure the effectiveness of our content and advertising, and improve the Site and Services.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and violations of our Terms of Service.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to make the Site work, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and measure and improve our marketing. Specifically:
- Essential cookies keep the Site and any account or checkout functionality working.
- Analytics tools, including Google Analytics, help us understand traffic and behavior on the Site. Google may use the data it collects in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Advertising pixels, including the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and similar tools, allow us to measure the performance of our ads and show you relevant ads on other platforms based on your visit to the Site. You can manage ad preferences through your Meta account settings and the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com.
- Our marketing and CRM platform may place tracking on the Site and in our emails to attribute form submissions and email engagement.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site may not function properly. The Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, but we honor opt-out preference signals where required by applicable law.
5. Email and Text Marketing
If you subscribe to our list or provide your email when engaging with us, we may send you newsletters, resources, program announcements, and promotional messages. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any marketing email or by emailing [email protected]. We will still send you transactional messages related to your purchases, sessions, or account.
If you opt in to receive text messages, we may send recurring automated messages about your sessions, programs, or offers to the number you provide. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for assistance. We do not share your mobile opt-in or consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We work with third-party platforms that help us operate the Services, including our CRM and marketing platform, community platform, scheduling tools, payment processors, video conferencing, cloud storage, email delivery, and analytics and advertising providers. These providers may access your information only to perform services for us and are required to protect it.
- AI tools. As described in Section 7, we may input certain business and brand information into AI platforms to deliver the Services.
- Within the community. Information you post in our online community — including your name, profile, and posts — is visible to other members of that community.
- Contractors and facilitators. Coaches, facilitators, and contractors who help deliver programs may have access to participant information needed for their role and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers. If Moxie is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
- With your consent. We may share information for other purposes when you direct us to or give us permission — for example, when you provide a testimonial for our marketing.
7. Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools
We use artificial intelligence tools, including large language model platforms such as Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI), to support strategy development, content creation, research, analysis, and the preparation of deliverables. When delivering services to clients, we may input brand identity materials, business overviews, marketing goals, existing content, product and service descriptions, and similar non-financial, non-sensitive business information into these tools as reasonably necessary to complete the work.
We do not input payment card information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information into AI tools. We use business or paid tiers of these platforms where available, and we take reasonable steps to limit inputs to what is needed. AI-generated material is reviewed by a person before it is delivered. If you would like specific materials excluded from AI processing, contact us at [email protected].
8. Confidentiality of Coaching and Community Information
Information you share with us during coaching sessions and engagements is treated as confidential and used only to deliver the Services, except as described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law. Please note that coaching is not a licensed clinical relationship, and legal privilege does not apply. We ask community members to keep what is shared in the community confidential, but we cannot control how other members use information you choose to post.
9. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain our business records, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Client engagement records are generally retained for at least seven years after the engagement ends for business and tax purposes. We may retain anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including secure third-party platforms, access controls, and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your account credentials and let us know immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
11. Your Choices and Rights
You can update or correct the information in your community or program account at any time through your account settings, or by contacting us. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails and texts as described in Section 5, and manage cookies and ad tracking as described in Section 4.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or international privacy laws, such as the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, to request correction or deletion, to opt out of targeted advertising or the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, please note that we are based in the United States and your information will be processed here. We rely on your consent, the performance of a contract with you, or our legitimate business interests as the legal bases for processing, and you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Site and Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-Party Websites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, tools, and social media platforms. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on the Site with an updated “Last updated” date, and, for material changes, we may also notify you by email or a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
